Urbanica, Inc. is a Boston-based design/development company known for its design-oriented development and value-added projects. Atypical of most development companies, Urbanica develops through design and partnership. They believe that the ethos of "Differentiation by Design" can lead to outstanding developments.

Each of Urbanica's projects are uniquely developed through collaborations between designers, engineers, consultants, investors, financial institutions, legal advisors, real estate professional and local leaders. Each is brilliantly executed to the highest degree of quality and each resulted in highly desirable products for end users to live in and enjoy.

Urbanica recently completed 4 units of Energy Positive Townhouses at 226-232 Highland Street. The homes are LEED-H Platinum certified and produces more energy than it consumes. The project is awarded the 2014 Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Housing Design Honor Award, the 2014 BSA Design Excellence Honor Award and the AIA/COTE Top Ten Green Projects Award. The E-Homes project is also featured on The Boston Globe.

MERGE architects is an award winning practice that invents through collaboration. Founded by Elizabeth Whittaker, the firm's work addresses multiple scales including commercial, institutional, retail, private residential, multi-family housing, as well as graphic and furniture design.

The office works side-by-side with the client and teams of fabricators, artists, craftsmen and engineers to produce an architecture that embraces the art of making within a larger agenda: to re-define the urban and social boundaries in and around the city.

The work of Merge Architects has been widely published both nationally and internationally, most recently named one of the "15 Young Firms to Watch" by Residential Architect magazine and the "2015 AIA Institute Honors for Young Architects" award.

Brian Perry has built a solid reputation during his 25 years in real estate. His early foundation in his family's construction business has resulted in a performance oriented approach.

He has led the way with flagship loft developments in destination neighborhoods, such as the South End's Laconia Lofts and Gateway terrace. Brian has sold Spencer Lofts in Chelsea and Porter 156 in East Boston, each achieving record breaking prices.

Other projects include Penny Savings Bank in the South End and Riverbank Lofts in Watertown.
